The first real entry in the build log. The plan: document the 6S 5″ freestyle build end to end — every decision, every mistake — so the next build is faster.

Today​

  • Confirmed the part list (see the 5″ Freestyle build).
  • Bench-tested one motor + prop on the thrust stand to sanity-check the thrust-to-weight target of TWR≈9\text{TWR} \approx 9.
  • Discovered one motor mount hole was slightly off — reamed it rather than forcing the screw.

Next time: solder the 4-in-1 and do a props-off power-up behind a smoke-stopper.
